About

Perimeter Media + Culture Projects is a New York City-based organization that presents film and video festivals, arts events, and cultural exchanges.

History

Perimeter Media + Culture Projects is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1998 in New York City with a mission to present independent media arts and cultural programs that encourage dialogue and exchange across geographic, cultural and social boundaries. Perimeter supports and exhibits international independent film, video, and multi-media artists (with an emphasis on short works by contemporary artists and producers) and creates opportunities for dialogue and interaction between artists, cultural producers, and the public.

By collaborating with cultural institutes, college and universities, and other cultural and media arts organizations and producers, Perimeter has successfully presented several projects that have an international focus. Perimeter's projects have included the New York Animation Festival, the Outer Limits Film and Video Series, the MOOV media arts festival, international cultural exchanges, and youth workshops.
